Last week was one of crap proportions in so many ways for my family and we were in need of a little light relief and something to make us smile again. One of the hardest things to deal with, was the loss of our cockatiel 'Sparky', who'd been with us for about 18 years. Paul had said 'no more', but he's out at work all day and my house was so quiet - I know we have Marvin, but he's a lizard - great company, lovable and cuddly, but he doesn't make a noise.
So, Paul and I went out with a man who knew a man .....(you get the picture) and we bought a hand-reared Patagonian Conure Parrot, 12 weeks or so old - male/female - yes, one of the two! We've called him? Coco, hopefully, it will be easy for him to mimic. He's brought us a lot of joy, he's very loud, especially when ignored; will nibble ANYTHING. He helps me put on makeup, type (lost count how long this short message has taken me)... can you imagine how I'm going to draw and paint LOL ... will let you know on that. Here he is
Any typo's, blame Coco =)
